Ageing Rock Stars who now look like your mum
This site is dedicated to the Man Rock icons of the 70's and 80's, who from the early 90's have gradually morphed from all-conquering-arena-slaying heroes into somewhat grizzled yet oddly feminised version of their former selves.

Part 6 - Dave Murray
Those apple cheeks are really starting to haunt ol' Dave. Iron Maiden still pedal their spectacularly durable brand of Man's Metal, and if Dave's head continues to get any more pumpkin-y, then he may we be a candidate to appear as a Jack-o'-lantern on their next record sleeve.

Part 5 - Jani Lane
Jani Lane is the Cherry Pie Guy. There should be no shame in that. We reckon it's a bloody terrific track, and it allowed Warrant to own the rock charts and most American sports arenas in the late 80's and (very) early 90's. So he should wear it as a badge of pride. "Damn you hipsters, I am the Cherry Pie Guy !"
Part 4 - Brian May
Bri does himself no favours by refusing to lose the 70's corkscrew "do". He actually gets quite tetchy when questioned on the hair, which is fair enough when Queen have been responsible for some of the most magnificent Pomp Rock masterpieces such as Sheer Heart Attack and Night at the Opera. These days the hair screams a bit less "70's Rock God" and a bit more "mental old bag lady".
Part 3 - Jimmy Page
Make no mistake, Jim is "The Man". With Led Zeppelin he invented proper Rock Debauchery, perfected the Sturm und Drang Rock Epic, and was generally responsible for all that is great about big fat 70's Man Rock.
In 2011, pop a wimple on him and you could almost imagine Jim serving spuds in Brueghel's 'Peasant Wedding'.

Part 2 - Rick "Sav" Savage
Anyway, grab Pyromania, Hysteria or even Adrenalize as I reckon this is how Sav would prefer to be remembered.

Part 1 - David Coverdale
In 2011, Dave is still singing 'bout luurve and ladies, while managing to look like one himself. Bless.
Welcome
